Episode 2: “Skywater: Part I”

On this episode of “No Dams Given,” Tripp Morgan and Billy Mann are joined by Barbara Rivera Holmes, president of the Albany Chamber of Commerce. Justin Strickland, from Albany’s Economic Development Commission, also joins the team. Listen in, as Mrs. Holmes tells her interesting story of her journey from Puerto Rico to Florida to SW Georgia. Listen in, as Justin speaks about his contribution to Pretoria’s location. She also tells the story of how she came up with the label, “Skywater,” as the name for Pretoria’s signature beer. Albany, does, indeed, have a rich history. It points to our potential as a city; and since we have “done it” once, we can surely do it again!
